In late 2019, Pani Clampitt decided she had to do something about her teeth. They were getting loose and were very painful, but being a retiree who was living on the pension she couldn’t afford to go to the dentist.
“I was in a lot of pain,” Pani recalls. “I knew I needed to do something about my teeth, but I didn’t know where to start. I went from dentist to dentist to dentist trying to find a solution to no avail. And then I found Roger.”
‘Roger’ is Roger Oliver of The Denture Man, Hamilton’s newest denture specialist. Pani says on the day she met him, Roger made her feel comfortable and confident – feelings she hadn’t had about herself since before she’d had her front teeth removed the previous year.
“When I met Roger, my top teeth had been removed,” says Pani. “After my teeth were removed, I lost a lot of confidence, which is very unlike me – I’m usually a happy and bubbly kind of person. I was embarrassed about the way I looked and kept talking with my hand over my mouth so people couldn’t see my missing teeth. But Roger made me feel welcome and comfortable even though I was ashamed about my appearance.”
